Our Staff
The children in Lambton Park Child Care Centre thrive on the dedication, creativity and passion shared by each and every member of our team. The commitment to open communication and the positive, nurturing attitudes of our staff, shape our child care centre into a welcoming environment for parents and children. All our staff have up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR certification. Our staff remain current in early childhood practices through ongoing professional development such as workshops and seminars.
Karin de Winter is our full time Child Care Coordinator and has been with us since 2000, She graduated from Seneca College's Early Childhood Education program in 1986 and has taken additional courses at York University, George Brown and Centennial College. Prior to Lambton Park, she worked as a Centre Supersivor and RECE for 15 years. Karin works with our amazing staff and volunteer Board of Directors to ensure the Centre continue to provide quality care and education.
Preschool Staff
Sarah Gunness, RECE
Sarah is our full time Registered Early Childhood Educator in the Preschool Program and has been with us since 2013. She graduated from George Brown College's Early Childhood Education program in 2011. Prior to Lambton Park, she worked as an Infant Program Teacher. Together with Estefania, Sarah's responsiblilities include program planning and implementation of the preschool program.
Sarah Gunness, RECE
Estefania is our full time Registered Early Childhood Educator in the Preschool Program and Assistant Supervisor. She has been with us since 2010. She graduated from George Brown College's ECE program in 2007. Prior to Lambton Park, she worked as a Toddler Program Teacher. Together with Sarah, Estefania's responsibilities include planning and implementation of the preschool program.

Gemma Mascioli, RECE
Gemma Mascioli is our afternoon RECE in the Preschool Program. She graduated from George Brown College's ECE program in the Spring of 2023 and joined out team in August 2023. Together with the Preschool staff, Gemma's responsibilities include implementation of the preschool program and responsive interactions.
Maryan Albazi is our morning part time Early Childhood Assistant in the Preschool Program and has been with us since April 2024. Together with the Preschool staff, Maryan's responsibilities include implementation of the preschool program and responsive interactions.

Kindergarten Staff
Silvia Sacco, RECE
Silvia is our full time Registered Early Childhood Educator in the Before After Kindergarten program and has been part of our team since 2014. She graduated from Centennial College's Early Childhood Education Program in 1996 Together with her colleague, is responsible for planning and implementation of the Kindergarten program.
Sana Oliver, RECE
Sana Oliver is our full time Registered Early Childhood Educator in the Before After Kindergarten program and has joined our team in September 2023. She graduated from George Brown's Early Childhood Education Program in the spring of 2021. Together with her colleague, is responsible for planning and implementation of the Kindergarten program.
School Age Staff
Julie Kim, RECE
Julie is our Registered Early Childhood Educator in the Before After School Age program and has been with us since October 2019. She graduated from Humber College's Early Childhood Education Program in 2019. Together with her colleague, is responsible for planning and implementation of the school age program.
Erykah Cho, RECE
Erykah is our Registered Early Childhood Educator in the Before After School Age program and joined our team in July 2022. She graduated from George Brown College's Early Childhood Education Program in 2022. Together with her colleague, is responsible for planning and implementation of the school age program.
Additional Staffing Supports
Through Toronto Children's Services we are able to access the support of an assigned Resource Early Childhood Educator through the Every Child Belongs Program. This program provides support to staff through consultation and specialized training. Through the Child Care Support Funds, additional staffing can also be provided on a long or short term basis.
